Keys To Prevention Wave I: December 2020 - January 2021

Survey I was conducted using a dual-frame randome-digit (DFRDD) using both landlines and cellular phone records. 

Keys To Prevention Wave II: May - June 2021

The second survey wave employed the expanded recruitment and eligibility protocol, which allowed participants to engage with the survey team at their convenience through an online platform in English and Spanish.

Keys To Prevention Wave III: August - September 2021

This survey timeframe aligned with traditional wildfire season when low air quality is the most prevalent in much of the Pacific Northwest. New outreach support tools included bilingual advertising in newspapers & social media revised to reflect an emphasis on air quality and also promoted an opportunity for inclusion in a gift card drawing for survey completion. A domain name and website,, was created to redirect participants to the online survey.
